Police Chief Adam gave the department's monthly report at the Feb. 19 meeting, saying the Greenwood Lake Police Department handled 1,080 blotter reports in January, conducted 309 traffic stops and issued 122 traffic summonses. He also reported four motor‑vehicle accidents, four parking summonses, 27 welfare checks, 36 medical‑assist calls and two arrests.
“Our response times for the month of January was approximately 3 minutes,” Chief Adam said. He told the board there were no use‑of‑force incidents during the month. The chief also listed community events, including an Easter egg hunt (April 19), a bicycle rodeo (May 17) and a fishing derby at Senator Moreham Park (June 28), and noted a pending DCJS equipment grant.
