County staff report progress at Conservation and maintenance facilities; fuel tank and electrical work remain

Staff reported HVAC installation, plumbing and nearing fuel tank completion at the Conservation Building; conduit, electrician availability and salt pad scheduling remain to be resolved before finalizing the maintenance facility work.
Staff member S2 provided a construction update on the Conservation Building and the county maintenance facility. S2 said HVAC work and water lines are in place, the plumber is on site, and the fuel tank is nearly completed, but conduit and electrician scheduling must be resolved before the county can complete final site work.
S2 told the board, “It looks like they're getting some HVAC in too.” S2 also described coordination needs for DOT letting on related bridge projects and noted WHKS’s role in keeping bridge project timing aligned. Staff said the contractor for the salt pad has not yet delivered rock and that t-wall installation and sequencing will determine the final schedule.
