Board approves senior-dining agreement, election location, payroll contract and other routine resolutions

The Greenwood Lake board approved multiple resolutions: agreement with Orange County Office for Aging for senior dining (Res. 46), designated the Greenwood Lake Senior Center as the March 18 election location and named inspectors, authorized Payserv for 2025 payroll, adopted the 2025 holiday schedule and authorized medical-payment offers on a slip-and-fall claim.
The board moved through several resolutions during the Dec. 18 meeting and approved each by voice vote. Resolution 46 authorized the mayor to sign an agreement with the Orange County Office of Aging for the senior-dining program; the board also set the upcoming village election for March 18 at the Greenwood Lake Senior Center and appointed election inspectors.
Officials authorized a payroll-services contract with Payserv for 2025, adopted the village holiday schedule for 2025 and approved a resolution authorizing the village's insurance carrier to offer payment of out-of-pocket medical expenses to resolve a slip-and-fall claim outside the village police station on Oct. 28, 2024, with no admission of liability. Each item was moved, seconded and carried by the board.
