The Joint Finance/Policy & Personnel Committee reviewed bi-annual policies April 15 and identified administrative edits to Title IX and nondiscrimination contacts.
The committee recorded that policies 2:260 (Uniform Grievance Procedure) and 2:265 (Title IX Sexual Harassment Prohibited) should be updated only to replace "Kendra Asbury" with her successor as the Nondiscrimination Coordinator and Title IX Coordinator, effective July 1, 2026. The minutes state these are the only changes required to those policies.
Other bi-annual items—including 5:90 (Abused and Neglected Child Reporting), 5:90 AP (Coordination with Children's Advocacy Center), 6:50 (School Wellness), 7:10 (Equal Educational Opportunities), 7:70 (Attendance and Truancy), 7:180 (Prevention of and Response to Bullying, Intimidation, and Harassment), and 7:285 (Anaphylaxis Prevention)—were reviewed and retained without edits. The record notes earlier January 2026 updates for several of those policies.
The committee did not adopt any policy language at the meeting; the change identified for the Title IX/contact designation is administrative and limited to replacing the name on policy documents.
