"Per mandate, I will be resigning from my seat, district Trustee District 3, because at the end of the month, I will be moving from my trustee area address," Jose Juan said, thanking colleagues and the community for five years of service.
In a lengthy statement, Jose Juan urged the board and district partners to keep students at the center of decision-making, to guard against faith-based or political agendas interfering with schooling, and to encourage affiliated organizations to mirror the district's demographics so families see themselves represented at the table. Board members thanked him and wished him well.
