The Santa Ynez Valley Union High School District Board unanimously approved a College and Career Access Pathways (CCAP) agreement with Allan Hancock College to continue dual and concurrent enrollment offerings.
"The CCAP agreement pathway was reviewed, and presented at the last meeting. It's just a requirement for us to have this in place in order to offer the dual and concurrent enrollment course offerings," said the staff presenter, noting there were no further questions after the prior meeting.
Board members moved and seconded the approval and the motion passed on a roll-call vote with Mr. Johnson, Ms. Noble, Ms. Grace Velasquez, Mr. Ibarra and Ms. Sheehy voting aye.
The approved CCAP agreement allows qualifying high school students to enroll in Allan Hancock College courses for credit; the district did not discuss changes to course lists or enrollment caps during the meeting.
