Christopher Montgomery, director of planning and zoning, told the council the joint planning commission will hold a public hearing on the statement of goals and objectives for the updated comprehensive plan on Tuesday, Aug. 11 at 6:30 p.m. at the courthouse.
Montgomery said the statement of goals and objectives and a blurb were posted in the newsletter and on the fiscal court Facebook page and that the planning office left printed copies at the intake window for residents. He said this hearing will address only goals and objectives; subsequent hearings will cover maps and other plan elements.
