Sanilac County Board of Commissioners approved payment of current claims dated May 27, 2025, totaling $129,886.27 and adopted several budget amendments and transfers during its June 3 meeting.
The board awarded three contracts: Flooring Edge for carpet replacement at a not-to-exceed $24,705.20 (funded from building and grounds), MDT for cost-allocation services at a not-to-exceed $46,999 (general fund), and Moore Motors of Carroll for a 2025 Ford F-150 crew cab for parks at a not-to-exceed $44,667.84 (parks millage). County administrator Nathan noted construction timing for the carpet work, saying, "They were looking at between 3 to 5 days." All motions carried by voice vote with the commissioners present.
Commissioners asked about delivery and completion dates for the truck and flooring contracts; staff said they would coordinate schedules with contractors. The board recorded motions and voice votes for each item and directed staff to proceed with contracting and publication where required.
