Haddix said donations for Hurricane Helene victims are being accepted at Vincent Memorial and Freedom Baptist Churches, and that Linda Griffith is accepting donations for a limited time at the Nutter Fort Post Office. The chief also noted that the RCBHS homecoming parade on Oct. 2 drew strong local turnout.
