Alderman Dolan told the council that City of Hometown Ordinance No. 3-1989 permits passing Chicago's water-rate increase through to Hometown customers. Dolan said residents will see the increase on the July billing cycle (bills due in August for June usage). The report is informational; the council did not record additional action at the meeting beyond the committee report.
