Stonington board rezones 305 S. Livergood to C-1 for garage

The Village of Stonington Board of Trustees voted 5-0 Sept. 4 to rezone 305 S. Livergood from Residential to C-1 Commercial after resident Steve Little asked for the change to permit building a garage.
President Bruce Dowdy said the rezoning will be recorded with the village and the Christian County Clerk. Trustees advised Little to meet with Zoning Officer John LeVault to confirm the exact garage dimensions; if the project exceeds permitted size limits it will need review before the Variance Committee.
The minutes record the motion to approve the zoning change was made by Trustee Andrew Callan and seconded by Trustee Jeff Graham, with the vote passing 5-0.
