The RSU 18 finance committee presented a month-by-month summary of payroll and accounts-payable activity and explained an informational 'declaration' document to be sent to towns. Committee figures discussed included payroll warrants of about $2,100,000 in February and roughly $2,000,000 in March and April, and accounts-payable totals in the mid‑hundreds of thousands for specific months.
During the presentation staff said the declaration document is intended to increase transparency and show how expenditures flow to taxpayers. The finance committee suggested adding a concise bottom-line summary to the town-facing sheet to clarify local impacts. Committee members noted that most approvals are complete and only a few signatures remain to finish the April approvals.
