Town Manager Barbara Hollerand told commissioners the School Board requested edits to the existing SRO MOU to allow the district to address performance issues involving the assigned SRO. Hollerand said all other terms of the MOU will remain unchanged through June 30, 2026.
The board adopted the amendment by a 4–1 vote; Commissioner Marc Powell voted no. The amendment does not change pay or daily assignment language in the minutes; it specifically permits the school district to raise and address performance concerns with the individual officer under the MOU terms.
