The Hononegah Community High School District 207 Board on April 15 recognized the Ogden family for donating the 1925 diploma of graduate Mary Inez Richardson to the Historical Society. Mrs. Ogden described discovering the diploma and said the family will donate additional items; the Board accepted the donation during the meeting.
The Board also honored Illinois Principal Association Student Leadership Award recipients Layla Buckley and Landon Samuelson; announced VetsRoll 2026 participants Brooke Etnyre, Camden Greenfield and Addison Erb with a send-off scheduled for May 17 at 5:14 a.m. and a return on the evening of May 20 at Harlem High School. Student Council liaison Parker Ennett reported yearbook sales, prom plans for April 25 with the theme "Tides of Elegance," and that next month will be his final meeting as the Board student liaison.
