Commission adopts and amends class specifications for county and partner positions

At the April 14 meeting the commission adopted class specifications for records and library positions and amended specifications for Parks & Trails Laborer and Senior Employment & Training Specialist.
The Cayuga County Civil Service Commission adopted new class specifications for Records Retention Manager (HELP Program) — County Clerk, Circulation Supervisor — Seymour Library, and Circulation Supervisor (HELP Program) — Seymour Library and directed staff to notify appointing authorities. Chairman Bruce D. Sherman moved to adopt the class specifications and Commissioner Ryan M. Foley seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
Commissioners also approved amendments to existing class specifications for Laborer — Parks & Trails and Senior Employment & Training Specialist — Employment & Training upon a motion by Commissioner Foley, seconded by Commissioner Adams. The minutes record these as standard administrative updates with staff directed to notify appointing authorities.
