The committee acted on multiple resolutions during the April 8 session. Among the items recorded in the minutes: the committee amended and approved resolution 4-26-JP-3 to reflect a state-mandated salary increase for the District Attorney (motion by Ben Vitale, second by Hans Pecher); the committee approved resolution 4-26-JP-1 to fill two Emergency Services Dispatcher positions (motion by Tom Winslow, second by Hans Pecher); and approved 4-26-JP-2 authorizing a three-year maintenance contract with Penn Power Systems for county generators supporting the Emergency Communications System (motion by Ben Vitale, second by Hans Pecher).
Additional approved items included resolution 4-26-JP-4 authorizing the Sheriff to fill four vacant Deputy Sheriff (Custody) positions, resolution 4-26-JP-5 approving Sgt. Jacob Slobe's adoption of K-9 Pitt, resolution 4-26-JP-6 to contract with LEXIPOL for web-based training services, and resolution 4-26-JP-7 to contract with CLPS LLC for a threat assessment software platform; motions were moved and seconded as recorded and the minutes note "all in favor."
