County task force backs grants for recovery programs, DARE and local fitness center

The presenters flagged a handful of applications that were multi‑county in scope and asked for more detail on other revenue sources. Commissioners asked staff to confirm whether applicants had other operating revenue and whether award dollars would be placed back into the Grant County budget after reimbursement. Staff said the task force's recommendations will return to the board for final action at the Aug. 18 meeting.
