Public Works Director Chris Smith presented Resolution 25-09 (Solid Waste Plan) and noted a line in the draft related to criminal charges that contained typos; Smith said he will verify the language and resubmit the corrected resolution at the next meeting. Smith also confirmed that noxious weed application hours are 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
Smith presented two right-of-way permit items: a permit related to a swine facility on 120th that is being held pending contractor readiness, and a pivot/irrigation-line permit for Tanner Litton at 60th and Cloud. The commission approved the Tanner Litton permit in a 3-0 vote; the swine-facility permit remains on hold pending contractor action.
