Casey Anderson, executive director of the Orange County Farm Bureau, said the bureau has operated the Laguna Beach Farmers Market since 1995 and described vendor-selection priorities and the logistical constraints that make permanent porta-potties impractical for a weekly market. Commissioners and public commenters asked for better restroom signage, clearer coordination with Festival of Arts staff and review of whether city booths should occupy scarce vendor space. The commission approved the permit renewals by roll call and suggested staff pursue a vendor-parking permit or reduced parking fees as a follow-up.
