Council accepts land donations and approves affordable-home sale under AHCP

The council also approved a purchase-and-sale agreement selling 1772 Delaware Avenue, a 3-bedroom, 2-bath single-family home in the CRA, to Stephanie L. Robinson for $272,350 through the Affordable Home Construction Program (AHCP). Staff said this is the second home the city has built and sold under the program and that additional contracts are in process.
Separately, council approved corrective quitclaim extensions that extend city reverter clauses by one year on several infill housing lots (multiple agenda items) to enable developers to reactivate building permits; staff indicated restrictions remain to keep resulting homes affordable (staff cited a 20-year affordability restriction for one package). Motions on these items carried without opposition.
