Commission grants waiver for curb-and-gutter on church parking redo
Summary
The Plan Commission approved a parking-lot resurfacing and marking plan for the Church in Wisconsin on College Avenue and agreed to waive additional curb-and-gutter requirements for the drive entries. Staff said existing curb-and-gutter will remain and staff had no objections to the amendment.
The Muskego Plan Commission unanimously approved a building site and operation plan amendment on Aug. 4 allowing the Church in Wisconsin on College Avenue to resurface and remark its parking area while retaining the existing curb-and-gutter configuration.
Staff (S5) described the work as a straightforward parking-lot redo: the site has concrete curb-and-gutter around most of the parking area but the entrance and exit drives currently do not have curb and gutter. Staff said as long as drive aisles remain 12 feet wide for one-way traffic and stalls meet 9-by-18-foot dimensions, there are no objections to keeping the existing curb-and-gutter pattern. Commissioners agreed and approved the amendment without dissent.
Action: Approve Resolution PC054 to allow the parking-lot resurfacing and marking for the Church in Wisconsin; outcome: approved unanimously.
