The Horry County Planning Commission heard a request to rezone 3.94 acres to expand an existing motor‑coach business on Homestead/Encipio in Myrtle Beach. Planning staff noted the area is predominantly MSF-10 and that the Burgess Community Association submitted a letter of support.
Felix Pitts of G3 Engineering told the commission that he met with the district councilman and surrounding residents after the item was deferred and had "a pretty successful site meeting" to resolve questions about "buffers, privacy fence screening, intent for access," and other concerns. Pitts said the applicant's business license issue "has been rectified as of yesterday." No vote or final action was taken during the workshop.
