The Muskego Plan Commission voted unanimously Aug. 4 to approve an amended site plan allowing INPRO to expand employee parking and reserve future office construction along Janesville Road.
Staff (S5) said the project mostly renews a previously approved plan from 2023 that had since expired; changes include a slightly curved entry drive per Waukesha County recommendations, added landscape islands, two parking-island light poles that must meet a 15-foot maximum height and full-cutoff, zero-tilt fixtures, and a stormwater retention pond. Staff recommended approval with the previously granted curb-and-gutter waiver on the northern portion of the lot and required that the trail along Janesville Road be constructed during the first phase. The commission agreed and approved the amendment.
Staff also noted a two-year sunset on the parking-only work so the applicant must return if the later phase does not proceed within that time.
Action: Approve Resolution PC052 with curb-and-gutter waiver, trail construction requirement, lighting standards and a two-year sunset on the parking-phase approval; outcome: approved unanimously.
