Specifically, the board confirmed the appointment of Amy Sharkey to the full‑time clerk‑stenographer position in the police department retroactive to 07/24/2026 at an annual salary of $61,552, contingent on Erie County personnel approval and preemployment checks. The board also authorized the temporary appointment of a recently retired staff member to cover a short vacancy, extended a school‑resource officer agreement with the Lancaster Central School District through 08/31/2031, and ratified memorandums of agreement on health‑care contribution rates with the police bargaining unit.
The supervisor said auction proceeds and insurance reimbursements were being used to adjust vehicle and capital lines and that staff would provide documentation for audit and public records.
