The council unanimously approved a set of housekeeping and financial items at the Aug. 12 meeting. Speaker 2 presented Resolution 53-2024 certifying the city's fiscal year 2024 financial report for submission to the Iowa Department of Transportation; the council approved the resolution by roll call.
Council also approved Resolution 54-2024, appointing Dan Johnson to the Swisher Community Fund Board of Trustees to bring the board to five members. Finally, the council approved Resolution 55-2024, authorizing payout number four to Dave Schmidt Construction for sanitary sewer work through Aug. 2, 2024. Staff noted a brief SRF funding compliance issue related to domestic material requirements that has been corrected and that the SRF funding is now back in compliance.
