Select Board approves cemetery fee increases citing higher operating costs

He noted nearby Plymouth and Blue Hills fees when comparing competitiveness.
Board members asked whether the increases cover costs and where Duxbury sits compared with neighboring providers; Lochetti said Plymouth’s rates would be roughly $15 higher than Duxbury’s after the change, and that Blue Hills recently raised fees. The board voted to approve the fee changes effective Aug. 4, 2026.
