In the meeting’s New Business the council approved Resolution R4-2026 authorizing temporary year-end fund transfers. The council also approved a $100 donation to Carroll County Transit and a $750 donation from the band fund for Music for the Moofest held Memorial Weekend at the Copper Cow. Alderman Paul Kaczmarski moved the $100 donation; Alderman Jody Wolber seconded the $750 Music for the Moofest donation; roll-call votes recorded five yeses and one absent for each item.
The council also adopted a proclamation designating May as Motorcycle Awareness Month and voted to order an appraisal for city-owned property on Southeast Lane after the mayor reported two interested parties. All actions passed with the same 5–0 (1 absent) roll-call outcome. The minutes do not record amounts tied to the temporary transfers or an appraisal cost estimate.
