Board delegates retiree outreach edits and authorizes FCG to manage Empower RFP

Board members approved two administrative actions aimed at improving participant communication and preparing for upcoming procurement. Second, the board addressed the Empower recordkeeping contract, which Schulze noted expires Feb. 15, 2027. Schulze requested that the board amend the current FCG contract to assist with the formal RFP/RFQ process, using administration revenue-share funds. Christine Briceno moved to amend the FCG contract to manage the formal RFP; Minahen seconded and the motion passed 5-0-0.
