The committee also approved a three-year lease with Sheldon Volunteer Fire Company for garage and storage space for EMS staging (monthly $700 in year 1; $750 in year 2; $800 in year 3; $27,000 over the life of the contract). Separately, members approved issuing an RFP for a Stryker stretcher model 6506 or newer for Ambulance 6104, including trade‑in of the existing stretcher to obtain a compatible load system.
