Lisa Milano, vice president of the Greenwood Lake Chamber of Commerce, used the privilege-of-the-floor period to invite local businesses and residents to the chamber’s Cabin Fever event and described it as an open invitation for networking. “I’m a vice president of the chamber,” Milano said, and encouraged nonmembers to attend for a small fee.
A resident identified as Lane spoke afterward about Van Orden Lane, asking the board to research restoring a K‑turn that was removed during a 2017 waterline project to improve emergency access and turning at the dead end. The mayor and trustees asked for a brief description and the mayor said he would inspect the site the following day.
Trustee Trezino also reminded residents about lake safety and urged caution when skating, explicitly advising people not to go on ice thinner than 3 inches; he noted that ice-fishing holes and snowmobile tracks can create hazards for skaters and children.
