Commissioners appoint Bob Kendrick to juvenile detention board and reappoint two local members to boards

The Fayette County commissioners appointed Bob Kendrick May 26 to the South Central Ohio Regional Juvenile Detention Center Board to fill the unexpired term of Gayle Denen, effective May 2026–May 2028. Commissioner Tony Anderson moved the appointment and Commissioner Donald L. Fleak seconded; the board voted unanimously.
The board also re-appointed Phil Bartley of Washington C.H. to the Residential Building Board of Appeals for a five-year term ending September 2030 and re-appointed Vincent Chrisman of Perry Township to the Fayette County Zoning Appeals Board for a five-year term commencing June 2026. Both reappointments passed on unanimous roll-call votes.
