Cedarhurst trustees award streetlight maintenance contract to Welsbach Electric

The Village of Cedarhurst Board of Trustees voted Feb. 2 to award the Streetlight Maintenance Services contract (Bid No. TI-2026-001) to Welsbach Electric Corp. of Long Island after reviewing the certified bid tabulation provided by the Village Clerk-Treasurer.
The motion to accept the tabulation and adopt a resolution awarding the contract was made by Mayor Benjamin Weinstock and seconded by Trustee Eric G. Brown. The board authorized the mayor to execute the contract and directed the Village Clerk-Treasurer to take the necessary steps to implement the award. The clerk's report noted that bids had been publicly opened on Jan. 14, 2026.
