Chair announced that the town received and placed four new automated external defibrillators (AEDs)—one each at the rink, highway barn, town office and sports program—and that additional staff training sessions are planned. The board said another training session will be scheduled for those who missed the initial session.
Sandy updated the board on GWorks billing-software testing and data merging with meter-reader accounts; she said a few accounts were missing or mis-numbered but reported progress toward resolving those issues and an expectation to be ready before the next billing cycle. On the comprehensive plan, participants said the draft received from the consultant (Morgan) looks promising and that they are working through edits with the intention of moving toward implementation recommendations.
The board also briefly discussed field availability for youth programs and the need to balance school fields and town offerings. No new policy was adopted during the meeting; the board asked staff to continue work on software testing, AED training scheduling and fine-tuning the comprehensive-plan draft.
