Carla Dieter told the commission the county should delay library funding until the library institutes a national rating system through ratedbooks.org and said, "Otherwise, Dieter said do not fund the library." Jeff Struwe, who said he has pursued the matter through the legislative process and has contacted state legislators, said the "budget that has public funding should be withheld until our children are protected from intentional grooming." The commission did not take action to pause library funding during the meeting.
