The Allen County Plan Commission scheduled to consider Rezoning Petition REZ-2026-0018 (PDP-2026-0007) on May 26, 2026, did not take up the petition after the applicant withdrew the request at the preceding Special Public Hearing. The petition, filed by US Aggregates, proposed rezoning 186.2 acres on the west side of the 7000 block of Ellison Road and west of I-69 from A3/Estates to 13/Intensive Industrial.
The meeting minutes list President David Bailey calling the Special Business Meeting to order at 8:40 p.m. and confirm that, because the applicant withdrew the petitions during the public hearing, there was no Business Meeting held and no vote on REZ-2026-0018. The record names Benjamin J. Roussel as Executive Director of the Department of Planning Services; staff listed include Michelle Wood, Karen Couture and Sean Rigler, and legal counsel Robert Eherenman.
