School advisory committee presses district for meeting streaming and inclusion on PILOT negotiations

He said the town passed resolution number 96 of 2024 and transmitted a letter requesting the district take steps "to make available timely and important information to their constituents," and that no formal response had been received to date.
Bass also described concerns about PILOT (payment in lieu of tax) agreements related to energy projects in the region, reporting that the town had been left out of six existing pilot agreements and that an SAC white paper's preliminary findings indicate "highly unfavorable terms and conditions for the citizens of Ticonderoga, and therefore also to the citizens of Hague." The committee said it was continuing to review the white paper and plan next steps to protect local taxpayers.
