The Fayette County Board of Commissioners authorized Jason Little, County Engineer, to enter a professional services agreement with American Structurepoint, Inc. to develop construction plans for Bluegrass Roadway Phase 4, extending the roadway from SR‑729 to SR‑41 and adding a new roundabout at SR‑41. The total fee for plan development was capped at $250,000.00.
Separately, the board approved a resolution authorizing the first amendment to the loan agreement with the Ohio Department of Transportation (SIB #231019/PID #119479) concerning Phase III construction of Bluegrass Boulevard, including the SR‑729 segment in Jefferson Township. Both approvals were recorded by roll call with all three commissioners voting aye. The amended agreement and professional services contract are on file with county records.
