Commissioners approve large transfers for Rattlesnake sewer debt, add appropriations for jail and courthouse

At the June 1 meeting, the Fayette County Board of Commissioners approved a set of interfund transfers and additional appropriations affecting sewer, water and courthouse budgets. Among the transfers, the board moved $553,905.70 from Sanitary Revenue Sewer - Rattlesnake to OWDA Wastewater System Improvement debt service and $82,972.93 to OWDA WWTP Missouri Ditch debt service; smaller transfers included $11,110.89 to Good Hope Sewer debt service and $6,692.97 to Lakewood Hills debt service.
The board also approved additional appropriations that included $70,000 for Courthouse & Jail contract services and $30,000 for Jail maintenance/repairs. All motions were moved, seconded and approved on unanimous roll-call votes by Commissioners Garland, Anderson and Fleak.
