The Westbrook Public Library is moving forward with plans for a Homebound Delivery program for patrons who cannot visit the building, but Director Michelle Centore told trustees the launch is pending clarification of insurance coverage.
Centore said the program is progressing and staff are selecting delivery bags; trustees discussed using LL Bean canvas bags for durability. The director told the board she is "waiting to hear about the insurance piece," and emphasized she would not finalize the service until insurance and operational protocols are confirmed.
