Commission completes Oregon supplemental budget work, must finish Washington request in nine days

Christina and Connie told the committee they have completed the Oregon supplemental budget request and that the Washington budget must be finished within nine days and submitted to the governor's office.
"Both Connie and I have just finished the Oregon request to the Oregon legislature for the, supplemental budget. And in the next 9 days, we have to finish the Washington budget," Christina said, urging commissioners to plan legislative outreach this fall. Members agreed to schedule an extra meeting to focus on legislative strategy and to identify the key legislators the Commission will engage ahead of the January session.
