Selectboard elects officers, sets regular meeting schedule

The Montgomery Selectboard elected Charlie Hancock as chair and Daniel Khan as vice chair at its March 16, 2026 regular meeting. Mark Brouillette nominated Charlie Hancock for chair; the motion passed unanimously, and Daniel Khan was elected vice chair by the same 5-0 tally.
The board also retained its regular meeting schedule of the first and third Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m., designating the St. Albans Messenger as the newspaper of record and keeping posting locations at the Town Office, Village Post Office, and Stewards shop. Daniel Khan moved to keep the schedule and Mark Brouillette seconded; the motion was approved 5-0. Chair Charlie Hancock reviewed Vermont open meeting posting requirements and the town's conflict-of-interest policy for officials and boards.
