City and county officials say Heritage Square repairs moving forward with county and CRA funds

The Historical Commission thanked the board for funding to help with museum repairs and introduced Nicholas Virgil, director of the City of Live Oak's CRA, who said the CRA has "around $25,000 set aside" to address insulation and other stabilization work under the museum's floors. Musgrove and city staff said the parking lot work is finished and that lighting and drainage will be considered during the next fiscal year.
Commissioners asked staff to coordinate improvements so county-funded work aligns with the Heritage Square vision, and cautioned that any county improvements should complement city plans.
