County schools report: Williams visits find instructional materials and no emergent health‑safety threats

Solano County Superintendent of Schools Dr. Nikki Parr and staff presented the annual Williams settlement report, explaining the county's role in conducting selected school visits to verify instructional materials, facility safety and teacher credentialing. The presenters said Williams visits are conducted according to state criteria and that the county visited sites selected for CSI/ATSI status and other triggers.
Dr. Tacey Rogers, who led the visit summaries, told the board the county verified presence of sufficient instructional materials at visited schools and found facility ratings that did not indicate emergent threats to health and safety. "We are confirming the presence of sufficient instructional materials as well as facilities that do not present any emergent threat to health and safety of students and staff," Rogers said. The presenters noted final statewide metrics (including percent of appropriately credentialed teachers for visited schools) are still pending from the California Department of Education and expected later in November.
