Board members discussed the purpose of the new fund and asked trustees to formally set it up and manage any disbursements. "The purpose is to take care of unfunded private burying grounds," one member said while moving to accept the donations. The motion to accept the donations was seconded and approved.
The trustees also discussed accounting changes required by the state charitable trust division to separate expendable funds into taxpayer dollars and donated money; the board approved a revised authorization form for deposits and withdrawals that clarifies those distinctions.
