During its review of the Feb. 10 zoning draft, the Planning Commission identified specific wording and structural edits intended to reduce confusion for applicants and staff. Commissioners asked that references to 'subdivision' be removed where they cause ambiguity and that accessory on-farm businesses be explicitly listed in exemption sections. They also asked that footnote language in Table 4(A) replace the word 'single' with 'residential.'
The commission directed guest editor Emily KloƯt to add cross-references under 'Exempt' to relevant items in section 4.1 to eliminate redundancy and asked Emily to determine whether the phrase 'agriculture structure and use' requires a formal definition in the draft.
