Mayor Kevin Stork called the Jerseyville City Council to order at 6:00 p.m. on Dec. 23, 2025. The council approved the minutes of the Dec. 9 meeting (Commissioner John Miles abstained) and approved bills totaling $476,637.02. Both motions passed following roll call votes recorded in the minutes.
Mayor Stork announced City Hall will be closed Dec. 24, 25 and Jan. 1 for the holidays. The council moved into closed session to discuss contract negotiation and later returned to open session with no action taken; the meeting adjourned at 7:03 p.m. following a unanimous roll call on the adjournment motion.
