The Town of Lyman Town Council voted unanimously Feb. 10 to adopt Ordinance 311, approving the town's 2025 Periodic Update to its Comprehensive Plan. Mike Couch moved to adopt Ordinance 311 and Mike Swanson seconded; the motion carried with all in favor.
Asher of EJ Municipal presented to the council and recommended approval of the update, and discussed suggested changes to the town's development regulations to align goals and policies with the new plan. The public meeting portion of the item recorded no public comment. Ordinance 311 formalizes the updated goals and policies and directs staff to pursue edits to development regulations consistent with the plan.
Councilors handled the measure as a regular agenda item and completed the required motions and vote. The minutes record the adoption as a single, unanimous action; the council did not record any amendments to the ordinance at the Feb. 10 meeting.
