Eric Jensen of EJ Municipal presented proposed revisions to the Town of Lyman’s comprehensive plan at the Jan. 13 council meeting, urging the council to expand the Urban Growth Area to accommodate additional residential growth adjacent to current town boundaries. Jensen also recommended expanding the Transportation Element to address funding approaches more fully after feedback from the Skagit Council of Governments.
Jensen proposed a workshop on January 26, 2026, to finalize the proposed revisions and to review the draft Critical Areas Ordinance. The mayor and council agreed to attend the workshop. The minutes record the workshop date and the council’s agreement but do not include text of the draft ordinance or specific funding options discussed.
