Council approves two-year snow-removal contract with P.E. Moore at $4,200 per plow

Town Administrator Erin Braband told the council that P.E. Moore submitted a proposal to continue the town's snow-removal services at a rate of $4,200 per plow and offered either a one- or two-year term. After discussion, Commissioner Jeremy Newnam moved to accept a two-year contract; Commissioner Walter Chase seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
Under the contract terms reported to the council, the town incurs no cost unless P.E. Moore is requested to plow. The approval keeps the existing contractor in place through December 31 of the second contract year and was recorded as a formal contract award by the council.
