Council approves street closure for Pasty Fest Aug. 14–16

On July 21 the Calumet Village Council unanimously approved a street closure request to permit Pasty Fest from August 14–16, 2026. Trustee James Tercha moved and Trustee Bernice Smith seconded the motion; the roll call vote was 4-0 in favor.
The council had earlier noted the Village will host a booth at Pasty Fest as part of outreach and promotion for local programs. With approval of the closure, staff and event organizers may proceed with event logistics and required notifications to businesses and residents affected by the closure.
